Herb Ritts
Herb Ritts does some amazing work when capturing images of the human body. He seems to be able to come up with different ways for the body to be presented that are unique was as shown in the image above. Though I would say I am not a huge fan of the images that look like an image you would see on a popular magazine, to me those are more boring and overused due to magazine companies. But images like the one above are the works of his I enjoy the most. He was able to capture the contrast between the skin of the models and the lighter sand. I really enjoy this due to how it makes them stand out and more of a focal point in the image. Like I said before, he uses odd ways to place the body of his models. This also creates some unique photos of his. In some of his work he uses shadows of the models as well.
