Lee Friedlander

Lake Louise, 2000, created by  Lee Friedlander. I really enjoy this photograph. something about it just seems very calming and peaceful. I think it may be due to how the subject of this picture is nature that is captured in a very pleasing to the eyes kind of way.
Lee uses a lot of things that are considered rules when it comes to creating something pleasing to the eyes. He uses triangles through the different aspects like the mountains on the sides and the sky between the mountains. My eyes seem to follow the middle reflection in the water, similar to a path, from the rocks to the point it almost disappears.
